The OICA’s centenary by Peter Group

Peter & Associés has been chosen by OICA to celebrate its centenary on February 13, in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron. The aim of this Paris-based international organisation, founded in 1919, is to defend the interests of car manufacturers, coachbuilders and importers in each national federation.

The OICA (the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers) founded in Paris in 1919 is celebrating its centenary this week. All its members have been invited to the French capital to take part in different events. Peter & Associés were chosen by the OICA at the very beginning of the project to advise and organise different actions celebrating the world motor car industry.

Thus, OICA has recognised Peter & Associés’ knowhow and expertise by deciding to entrust the company with organising every aspect of this event from the strategic recommendations to the choice of places for the conferences and gala dinner, as well as the graphic chart, accommodation and communications. Peter & Associés is a specialised consultancy in the field of communications and press and public relations.

A big Gala Dinner is being held on Wednesday night in the Pavillon Cambon bringing together numerous presidents from the world’s motor car manufacturers in the presence of Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic, ministers Bruno Le Maire, Elisabeth Borne, François de Rugy, Agnès Pannier-Runacher and Valérie Pécresse, president of the Ile-de-France region.

An international conference also took place in the Pavillon Gabriel with speeches by representatives of the world motor car industry. This conference was the theatre of a premier, the presentation of the conclusions of a report on the future of mobility and the attractiveness of France in the domain of the car industry, which the President of the Republic asked Messrs Mosquet and Pelata to compile in October 2018.
