Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille is a special weekend during which many things are celebrated, including technical excellence and design prowess. Since its very first days, the automobile and aviation industries have been tightly paired. Indeed, automobiles noticeably borrowed then developed entire systems and processes which were original conceived for airplanes. With design having not been limited to cars only, visitors were given the chance to admire and discover the model of the Airbus ACJ320neo, which includes a luxurious yet elegant cabin, created by Sylvain Mariat, Head of ACJ Creative Design. Last visited in 2017, and 2015 before that, the l’Autodromo Nazionale di Monza known as a shrine to speed and tifosi figures once again on Peter Auto’s calendar. As tradition is dear to us, we will be visiting this land of many legendary circuits and the birthplace of the most beautiful and prestigious sports cars, in our annual effort to stage an event in Italy.

DIX MILLE TOURS
18-20 OCTOBRE 2019

 

From 19th to 20th October 2019 the Paul Ricard circuit will vibrate to the rhythm of the Dix Mille Tours, a meeting for historic cars. This event, whose name derives from the rev counters, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! A novelty for 2019 is that the Endurance Racing Legends grid comprising the GTs and prototypes of the 1990s-2000s, previously run as a parade will be for the first time a proper race.

 ARRIVAL OF THE 7th EDITION OF PEKING TO PARIS RALLY,
PLACE VENDÔME À PARIS

 


The Peking to Paris has arrived place Vendôme on the 7th of July. It’s the longest and toughest rally you can imagine to achieve with vintage cars. Peter Auto was helping in logistical support at the finish. For these fearless 106 crews of 20 different nationalities, that left the great wall of China on June the 2nd, the Peking to Paris rally remains a life adventure and the figures are astonishing: close to 14 000 km in 36 days, 114° longitude East, 1 300 passing controls, 8 time zones, 12 countries, and up to 650 kilometer long steps. For this edition, the spectators have been able to admire the most unpredictable cars: the 1907 Mototri Contal , the 1910 Pullman White MM, the 1927 Chrysler 70 Roadster, the 1925 Super Sports Bentley, the 1975 Ferrari 208 GT4, or the 1974 Leyland P76.

 

In the Vintage category, Graham Goodwin and Marina Goodwin crossed the finish line in the first position with their 1925 Super Sports Bentley. In the Classic category, and for the third time, Gerry Crown and matt Bryson won in their 1974 Leyland P76.
